SLOWING DOWN
Do you feel like things are speeding up?
Every day feels like you’ve lived a lifetime and there is barely enough time to breathe?
You go from one thing to the next to the next and get to the end of the day feeling spun only to prepare yourself to do it all again?
Yup, same.
I’ve been in a season of intentionally slowing down. Getting back to practicing quietness and presence as a gift to myself. It feels like truly the best way I can love myself during these times. To slow down enough to hear my breath and feel my body. To check in and see how my heart is really doing. To create enough space to dream into. To get off the treadmill of life and look out the window and notice the snow falling.
We are in a time of mass distraction. Our attention is being pulled in all directions with every passing moment. It’s so important we do not lose sight of the essentialness of tuning in, getting quiet and listening. If you do not make this space for yourself in your mind and your body then you are infiltrated with energy, ideas, images, beliefs that are not necessarily yours. How can we know whats really ours if we’ve lost touch with the baseline of our beingness?
Let this be a moment, a choice, to come back. To slow down. To tune in. We can do it in a fun way, together. From the comfort of your own home, headphones on, we can breathe our way beneath the noise.
For me community is everything.
It was through me finding a community that was centered on radical self-expression, play, transformation, and deep connection that I finally felt supported to keep going on my journey.
Because of this, I am passionately committed to bringing conscious people together in a virtual space to breathe.
We will move together, express, heal and support one other around a specific theme.
Each month’s theme will be released 1-2 weeks before the circle date so please check back closer to the event date.
Breathwork is an active meditation that uses a specific breath technique called circular-connected breathing, along with music and guided support to help you heal on all levels. By breathing in large amounts of energy and air, blockages and old tensions are able to be accessed at their root and come up to the surface to be released, integrated and healed. Breathing in this way also allows you to journey into expanded states of consciousness, making the experience of breathwork one that is ripe with possibility for clarity, creativity and transformation.
On one hand the experience is activating and stimulating, and on the other it can allow you to relax and release tension while liberating limiting beliefs. It can connect you to your innate wisdom while gently expanding your being in new ways you may not have known were possible.
