NOURISHED: a 6-week Breathwork + EMBODIMENT journey

WE ARE depleted, HUNGRY FOR slowness, intimacy AND NOURISHMENT

join me for a 6-week Somatic Breathwork + embodiment journey

The winter time is the season of yin.

Of quiet and stillness and settling.

It’s a time when ideally our bodies would like to slow down and receive nourishment instead of the endless outpouring of energy that we often do in the yang season of summer into fall.

This season provides us with an opportunity to reconnect with our deep feminine essence. The part of us connected to the earths pulse. To the slowing of our heart beats. To the one who knows exactly how to care and nurture herself.

I feel that we are all in need of the nourishment of the feminine.

We have become disconnected from this slowness and inner mothering that our bodies are deeply yearning for.

My intention for this 6 weeks is that we all have a space each week to be nourished. To leave behind the striving and the doing and pushing. To find a space and place where we can just be and focus on energy input instead of output and where we can grow and experiment together around what it might feel like, look like, be like to nourish ourselves in a much deeper way.

I have been learning over the past few months how my inner mother knows the most beautiful and profound ways of soothing, caring for and nurturing me. When I am tapped in to this place, I feel my well filling up. I then actually have something to give to another. Im not walking through the world and my days just half full or nearing on empty looking for a quick fill up.

The truth is, we are hungry. We’ve been starving for silence, peace and nourishment.

The kind of nourishment that a long nap or a vacation is still not enough to quench.

We are seeking for the mother, the feminine energy.

The energy of a mother holding her baby and offering her effortless warmth, love, touch, holding, songs, and togetherness to her child.

The energy of the earths pulse. The earth mommas sacred heartbeat, always there sitting in stillness waiting for us to arrive back to her bossom.

Awaken your six gateways to Feminine Nourishment

Touch + Being held

Our energy wants to flow. To be in motion. Thats when we feel most filled up, alive and nourished. Touch and being held both increase the sense that we are contained, that its safe for our emotion and energy to move and flow through us. That someone is there with us, just like when we were babies in the womb and felt the walls holding us gently and softly touching our skin. Touch is vital human nourishment. It’s a direct gateway to feeling a sense of safety and nervous system regulation. Without it we forget who we are. Espicially women, we need it to be well.

Connection to the Earth + Body

Nowadays it’s very common to feel alone. Isolated. Disconnected from the ‘real’ world and living in a virtual reality, we forget that we are held by the great mother, mother earth, and that when our connection is strong, our umbillical cord rich with nourishing life blood that we feel home and cared for on a greater level then we could access on our own. When all other ‘mother’ energy has been lost, we have the chance to remember through connecting with the earth and feeling her unconditional love and unwavering support for us here on our human journey.

Slowness + Pleasure

The body cannot be nourished quickly. Nourishment requires slowness. Like making a really really good homemade chicken soup that will bring you back to life when sick, it requires time, tending, slowly bubbling away to become rich and nutritious. We move so fast these days. Looking for the quick hits of nourishment. But the juice is when we slow things down. We honour the goodness of the moment and following what is most delicious. That is where our bodies learn to hum with vitality.

Listening + Attunement

The feminine is receptive. She listens in the slowness for the whispers of her body. The body is oh so wise. Letting us know what we need. When we attune to it with our deepest presence all the answers are sweetly revealed. There is nourishment in offering yourself your own presence.

Voice + Expression

To speak is to clear. To sound is to vibrate with life. Our expression and outward movement of energy in many different ways helps us express that which no long wants to be stagnant in our lives and systems. When we speak we create. When we express we share our inner gifts with the outer world. When we hold it all in the body gets depleted. Its time to let out what wants to be shared.

Open Heartedness + Beauty

When our hearts are open we feel a burst of life force flowing through. Life feels more beautiful and we see the beauty all around us. Learning to work with your heart to support it to continue to find an opening and softening again and again is the way to feel full with love for yourself and life.

This January, join me on a journey using breathwork and specific somatic and embodiment practices to support you in finding a deep sense of slowness, beauty and nourishment in your everyday. These 6 weeks will give you space and permission to focus deeply on yourself and explore your inner world to reconnect with the most soft parts of you. Your touch, slowness, holding, listening, voice, heart, and gentle compassion self connection.

When we put our breath and body into motion we expand our capacity to experience a deep connection to our life force and its nourishment. We receive by being instead of doing. The breath circulates life through us and we are filled.

This group is an opportunity to take time for you whilst being in the presence and loving witness of a heart centered community. May we all be seen as we are and celebrated as we devote ourselves to taking immaculate care of ourselves as a priority.

Sign up is now closed.

HOW IT WORKS

We’ll come together on Zoom every Tuesday for 6 weeks. You’ll be in a small community/group of folks who are excited to take time this winter to nourish themselves.

Each session we’ll be exploring a particular theme. I’ll share for the first few minutes on the topic and then will provide writing prompts to support you in digging deeper into what wants to unfold in this container. We will then explore a specific somatic/embodiment practice before moving into our full breathwork session. Each person will have an opportunity to share what comes up or shifts in the space of our time together and collectively we will honour an intention to leave our 6 week container feeling deeply nourished and held.

This group can serve you in a number of ways:

  • A space to be held each week

  • Simple practices to move, shift and reconnect with your feminine energy

  • Deepening your breathwork practice by making a weekly commitment to yourself

  • Learning how to listen to your body with gentleness

  • A community of heart centered humans all curious about knowing and caring for themselves deeper in some way

  • Motivation and encouragement to give yourself permission to take time and space for your own nourishment

What previous participants have said:

“Taking part in Jenn's breathwork sessions/ workshop felt so inclusive and community oriented. If you are looking to heal in a space of likeminded souls, this is the practice for you. The clarity and quality of resources and tools provided during the session are so beneficial and can really help you drop in. The sharing and reflection amongst the group and even in your journal with given prompts has guided me deeper in my practice. Thank you Jenn for reminding me of the power of my breath.” - Vanessa Demello

“This beautiful practice has been my anchor as well my lifesaver, at moments where life sends you huge waves and you’re lost in the storm. Breathwork was my way to surf through those moments. It has helped me process, shed and let go as well to find my power and own my worth. By giving myself space my breath and body has shown me what I needed. You could say that this has been a way to parent myself: to self care. It’s been beautiful. Thank You Jenn.” - Brigitte Bourque
