From Healing To Thriving
There is a difference between healing and thriving.
Healing requires us to dig. To go into. To feel. To temporarily relive or re-experience something in order to let it move through us to be released.
This is such an important part of the process of becoming more than our history and our conditioning.
We have to go back and complete the hurts that never had the chance to be completed. Never had the resonance and attunement to move through the nervous system and be integrated into our innate wholeness of being.
This takes emotional maturity and inner safety to accomplish. It takes a great amount of courage to feel back into the places we have spent our entire lives avoiding looking at/going into.
And it’s not easy. Our mind has created great tactics and fortresses around these wounds that often require professional guidance to navigate through. They are tricky little protection mechanisms that don’t often voluntarily just let you explore the depths of these hurt places.
This journey of healing takes us through our masks, past our ego, face to face with our lower self/shadow, into the hurt, and then back to the core of our essence again. Every time we dive in courageous enough to move through all the layers we are reborn again as the being we have always been. We reconnect with wholeness and who we really are at the core, an innocent child of a gentle universe.
Each time we move from a place of separation back into love. Back into remembering who we were before anything happened to us in the first place.
This is an incredibly valuable tool to have to create a deep, rich, meaningful and full feeling life.
Yet, there is another chapter to the grander journey.
Healing is the feminine principle of human development and emotional evolution. It’s the body. It’s like the ocean. Deep, watery, wavy. We want to be able to swim. So key to living a full rich life.
Yet healing may never bring you to the top of the mountain. It may not give you the skills you need to thrive and climb.
To thrive we need to get our minds out of the limited paradigms and thoughts that keep us in small boxes.
Healing will keep moving you back into the waters but leaves out a very important question. Whats next? Where are you going now? What do I want to create with this energy? With this new found remembering of my goodness, of my core being? What do I want to do with it? What future do you want to step into now?
Ive been guilty of continuing to dip my toes back into the wavy ocean time and time again.
It’s become my comfort zone. The place I go because I know the way. I know I just have to get past my protectors and surrender to my body, my feelings, and the waves and let myself move through to the other side.
I am a master at this process. I teach it to others daily.
Yet it can’t help me with this next chapter.
Is there more to heal? Always. But right now, Im being called to create something new. Not old. Not digging. New.
Just like the world right now, we are all asking questions of how do we heal and then how to we thrive? What structures do we need in place to do that? What laws? What beliefs?
Thats the next level to bring my development into balance. Is to rewire, reprogram, reimagine how I can think differently and see the world in a different way.
The girl that got hurt and healed shes still a child who hasn’t grown up. She feels better now because she has a parent (me) nearby and knows she will be safe but what does she need to believe to grow up to become a thriving adult.
She needs to believe that she is safe here, safe in this body, safe in these feelings, supported to be here, held by something do much bigger then her, that her words matter, she’s wanted, she is surrounded by love and gets to have all of her love and give it freely, she is spirit in form, connected to all, guided, always in all the ways.
If she doesn’t rewire her mind she can’t grow up and start thriving in this fast paced world.
The innocent part of her who got hurt by this world became a victim. Her growing up to become a thriving consciously creating human requires 1) feeling and healing the past and 2) getting new beliefs and ideas about this world.
Those two things together combine to create massive transformation and perspective shifts around why I am here, who I am here, and how beautiful this world is and always has been.
The magic is in the balance. The waves and the rock. We need each other. We heal together. We thrive together. We create a new world together.
